We were greatly blessed with the amazing opportunity of spending Thanksgiving in the "Happiest Place on Earth".  It was amazing. Four days filled with great family time, roller coasters, theme rides, good food and lots of laughs. Matt and I road Space Mountain more times than I can count, Thunder Mountain and the Matterhorn were in the running as well. On a few adult nights out we ran from coaster to coaster, finishing the night soaked by Splash Mountain. I forgot how much I Loved Disneyland and what a Magical place it was. Seeing David's eye light up with every ride and his love of It's A Small World. I am not sure who was more excited to be there, David or Matt... but I guess it shows that Two or Twenty-four, Disneyland is an amazing place that brings the kid out in everyone. I am so very thankful for the relaxation, fun, and reminiscing this vacation allowed.

The Holidays

We are blessed enough to be spending Thanksgiving at Disneyland! So very excited but could not stand the thought of missing a real thanksgiving meal, and most importantly thanksgiving treats! So last night we celebrated Thanksgiving as a family, turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, topped off with pumpkin cheesecake and apple crumble... AMAZING. We gathered around the table, saying what we are most thankful for and giving praise to God for all our blessings. In our house Christmas festivities can not start until the day after Thanksgiving. This year there was a loop-hole... we celebrated Thanksgiving five days early!! Today I was blessed with an evening of decorating our home for the first time with my husband. We then stuffed ourselves with left-overs from last nights meal and topped the night off with Elf. I am such a blessed woman and so very very excited for this Christmas season!

one BLESSED woman...

I was blessed this year on my birthday and was able to splurge on the purchase of a new camera. I was so excited, to only find out it was back ordered. My camera shipped weeks after purchasing it, only to have the parts to my camera arrive, and not the camera myself. Lets just say I was a little let down. However after many days waiting my the door for the UPS man, phone calls, and lots and lots of prayers.... my new camera arrived today. It would have appeared like Christmas came early in our household, by my excitement. I am so blessed by my family, friends, and all the support in this adventure of photography I am on. I am blessed!

Gary and Kari Story Preview

I was blessed to spend a full day of photography on Saturday. My day ended with two amazing friends. Kari has been a running buddy, accountability partner, and friend for a while now.. and to spend sometime capturing her and her husbands love for each other was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. Yesterday we ventured down to Davis and spent the day with my sister and parents. We decided since we would all be together, it was a great opportunity to take pictures for our family christmas card...
