A lesson at a wedding…

On Saturday, I was blessed to work with Jenn Martin Photography. She is an amazing photographer who did a great job capturing all the moments, details and emotions of our wedding day. I was thrilled and a little stunned when she asked if I would be willing to help her out with a wedding. Really me, are you sure you got the right person? --hehe. It turned out to be an amazing learning experience. I am so thankful to Jenn for her mentoring, patience and kind words. At first I was a little out of my element, but found my groove as time went on.The rain turned into sunshine and it turned out to be a beautiful day. The Bride and Groom were stunning and their love for each other was so evident. I wish them all the very best in their life together. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Diamond for letting me be a part of your day.. and thank you Jenn Martin for all your teaching and the opportunity!

Baby boy Adan..

Yesterday was full of blessings! The first of many was this little guy… He is a week and a half old and so precious! Throughout our time together he dosed in and out of sleep, and bounced back and fourth between cries and smiles. Susan says he looks just like his daddy, but can sleep like his mommy! His tiny little hands, tiny little toes, soft cry and cuddly nature were all just so sweet. He melted my heart and made me wish I had one of my own. I just love the newness of life. There is something so exciting, loveable and precious about a child's first few months of life. For this I love my job. I love finding ways to capture the details and true heart of Gods miraculous gift to parents. Thank you Susan and Jamie for letting me be a part of this special time in your lives. Adan, thanks for the cuddles.

I will follow YOU…

The past two weeks I have heard messages about using our talent and gifts to serve the people of this world, to love on them as Christ loved us, to reach out to one another. Our purpose in this world is to be the hand and feet of the Lord. Our goal is to be still, and pray with open hearts. Pray for the opportunity in which our gifts are multiplied to abundantly bless and serve others. In the past weeks I have felt an amazing peace. It followed my realization that God has largely answered a prayer. I have always loved working with children (im sure you can tell that from my love of family and newborn photography), I worked as a nanny for many years. 
For years I prayed for the time to serve others by watching their children, just because I can. Not for any outcome other then to purely bless them. It took me a while to open my eyes to the current answer of prayer. Right now I have all the time in the world to bless those around me through my love for photography, working with children and blessing those around me.
Are there prayers being answered in your life right now, are there ways you can be an answer to someone else prayer, what could you be doing to be the hands and feet of God? Cause I will tell you, that right now, right here… the blessings coming back into my life are overwhelming. By really opening my eyes to what can be done around me, using my time to truly love others and serve them without any expectation… God has blessed be in return and filled my heart with peace. David turned TWO….

This week my nephew turned two years old. Wow, have the last two years gone fast… he is now running, talking, counting and developing such an amazing personality. Today he had a rock’n party with family and all his friends. Carolyn organized music time, story time, play time and really cute favors. It was so fun to see all the kiddos running around, interacting together, and having a good time. It was a great way to celebrate the life of my nephew.
