Meet the Chansa Family…

I was so blessed to spend time with the Chansa Family today. Over two years ago I met Leah in nursing school. She is a caring, honest, hardworking, vibrant, Godly woman and I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met her. A little over a month ago, Leah entered and won the spring photo session give away… and today she cashed in her winnings!! Chileshe is such a sweetie and her parents love for her is so evident. There is something special about the way they interact as a family, and I felt so honored to capture that through photography. To my surprise they even treated me to lunch afterwards… how amazing are they?!?! Thank you Chansa Family for allowing me the privilege of coming along side you!

The Human Race..

As it rain drops sprinkled down on Saturday morning, a group was gathering at Paradise Community Park. People who all came together to run the long fight for life, a 5k to be exact. Care-Net supports, educates and loves on pregnant or post abortive women.  Life is fragile, life is precious, but life can also be scary. Care-Net helps women make educated decisions, bringing into light all that abortion really is and does. I was so privileged to be a part of this great event on Saturday, they all ran The Human Race exceptionally well!

Meet Holli…

Holli is graduating from CSU Chico this semester.. and I am so happy for her. However I was even happier when she asked if I would take her graduation pictures, such a privilege! Holli is a beautiful person inside and out.. I am confident she will succeed at anything she puts her mind too. Congratulations Holli, you have already accomplished so much. I am so thankful for you allowing me the privilege to come along side you at this special time. Enjoy..

Davids Family Maternity Session..

Tonight I had the pleasure of taking maternity photos with the Davids Family. Let me tell you, they were troopers! Spring weather can really throw a wrench in photography. Sunny all day, until two minutes before we started.. and yes, sprinkles were falling! However, that did not stop them. We still got some great shots. Was very easy since their family is beautiful, and Kristi is simply glowing. Jeff and Kristi are wonderful parents to two adorable girls, and I must say I am very excited to meet baby boy Davids. I know his big sisters will take great care of him! Thank you David’s Family for allowing me to step along side you during this very special time of life, I pray that God continues to bless your growing family. Hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed my time with them.

Meet Josie…

This little girls smile is infectious, just like her older siblings. Her family is very special and dear to my heart. They are so welcoming, caring and very fun too. I have enjoyed spending more time with them lately and today I had the chance to grab some shots of Josie. Her giggles, sweet voice and fun personality warm my heart, and fill up my camera.
Today I added a song to this site, it is currently one of my favorites. The lyrics apply to so much, to my relationship with the Lord, my relationship with my husband and my relationship photography and my clients.

Photography and my clients move me. When I stand there, with life happening in front of my camera, I am moved. It touches my heart, gives me hope, motivates me and gives me strength. My clients light up my face and fill my heart with joy. I am so blessed to be pursuing photography. Thanks for playing Josie and for moving me today.
