"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully," Romans 12:6-8

Making time stand still…

We recently moved. Not very far, literally around a corner and up one set of stairs. Our new home has a wonderful view, and God has sure blessed by painting some wonderful sunsets the past few nights. Last night I decided to take my camera out on the porch to document the beauty that is our view. I feel so blessed to be living in a house that over-looks, trees, open skies, and hill tops, to be living in that home with an amazing husband who loves me so well, and to be blessed with the ability to freeze such moments. That is what I love about photography… I am blessed to freeze moments in time, moments that captivate you and make time almost stand still. Sometimes it’s a newborns little smile or wrinkly feet, a couples loving look, the excitement of a graduate, the radiating glow of an expectant mother, or like last night.. a simple sunset. Photography is simply freezing the beautiful. Be Still. Enjoy.
