"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully," Romans 12:6-8

Strength

[strengkth, strength, strenth] noun “1. the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor. 2. mental power, force, or vigor. 3. moral power, firmness, or courage.” Strength is a quality that everyone aspires to attain. My sister, Casey, is one of the strongest women I know. She is one of UC Davis’s Women’s Field Hockey captains and her dedication to being a positive leader to her team is an inspiration. Casey has committed herself to growing mentally strong through the study of viticulture and physically strong through lifting weights, running, and eating well. Her strength is something contagious… making all those around her desire to be stronger, more dedicated themselves. On Saturday she was recognized for her contagious strength. She was awarded Aggie of the Year. Congratulations Casey, you inspire me, and I am so very proud of you! Here are some pictures from the banquet. Enjoy!
